Waterfalls of Central Oregon booklet is a collection of scenic
waterfalls within an easy drive from Bend. Central Oregon writer Don
Burgderfer discovered that Central Oregon is home to a multitude of
waterfalls found in every direction from Bend except east. He wrote a
series of articles for Cascades East magazine describing many of these
falls in detail with photos.
This book recalls these articles in
a handy format with driving instructions and detailed maps. The falls in
the book range in height from a mere 10 feet to Oregon's second tallest
waterfall at 286 feet. Aside from the maps and easy-to-follow directions
to each waterfall, there are photos of many of the falls and information
regarding the best season for viewing, nearby special attractions,
permits required, and where to go for more information. Revised second
printing is now full-color throughout.
